Speaking personally, I'm really enjoying you newsletter, and I like that the topic varies around your theme. It keeps it from feeling stale.
I think once a week is good. I look forward to it each week. =)
As for topics to explore, I like delving into the nuts-and-bolts of writing. Process is something that a lot of new writers are hesitant about. They worry they're doing something wrong, or that they're not going to be successful because 'big name author' does it differently. Articles like that would be extremely interesting to both new and established writers.
And yes, your short fiction is worth including. =)
Thanks Aaron. I really appreciate you taking the time to reply. And it is reassuring that at least for you I seem to be hitting the mark. I might do as you say and talk more about (my) writing process, as it does seem relevant to my newsletter concept. I'm curious to see if others would also find that valuable. Thanks for the feedback!
I like your free newsletter the way it is. The "story" theme is unique. Once per week is fine. i prefer quality over quantity. Unfortunately, I don't have any helpful suggestions for the paid section. Maybe add short standalone stories there also. It's all about stories, right?
I am so glad I read this right now. I am stuck in a piece and this just unlocked my brain. I did not take a breath until right now, after I read all the comments. Great interaction
I enjoy your newsletter. I love the variety and the information and your easy, conversational writing style. I have gone back several times to your post on serial novels. And have marked several other posts for reading. Thank you for all the work you are doing and for making this such an informed and interesting read.

Thanks for the feedback! It is very helpful to me, and I'm glad I am doing things "right" in your book. :)
It's called "Story Cauldron" but do you even use any Wolf's Bane or Eye of Newt? Least impressive witches brew I've come across.
I don't, but I do utilize henbane, mugwort, wormwood, and skullcap. I also collect cat whiskers, feathers, pine cones, crystals, and seed pods.
You know I love a good gimmick - why not actually make it more witchy?
I could do that. Truly. :)

Oh, thank you! I’m really glad you’re enjoying it. Let me know if there’s ever something you’d like me to talk about in a future newsletter as well.
I absolutely will. I still haven't been through all your wonderful posts and intend to read them all.
